Coordinating Council on Tuberculosis

The Coordinating Council on Tuberculosis was held on August 3, 2023 at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was organized with the support of the Deputy Minister of Health, Amirzoda A.A. The meeting was attended by directors of centers for protecting the population from tuberculosis in cities and regions of the country, representatives of the Republican Center for Tuberculosis Control, as well as international partners involved in fighting tuberculosis in Tajikistan. During the coordination council, an analysis was made of the epidemiological situation with tuberculosis for the first six months of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022. Appropriate decisions were taken on shortcomings in detecting, diagnosing, treating, and preventing tuberculosis cases at the end of the meeting.
