The second day of the regional seminar “Strengthening Coverage of Tuberculosis Issues in the Media” with the participation of 15 media representatives and bloggers from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
Media representatives discussed:
Basic information about tuberculosis, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention;Media literacy in covering tuberculosis issues; Preventing stigma and discrimination towards people affected by the disease; The main regional issues discussed at the UN High-Level Meeting in 2023, and the development of an information and analysis plan;Interviews with people who have recovered from a modified form of tuberculosis.
